1: The Gospel of the Apostles

Welcome to the first lesson in the course on the Basics of the Gospel.

The Gospel is the message taught by Jesus Christ and by the Apostles who followed him. The same message appears throughout the whole of the New Testament, and indeed is in the Old Testament as well. After the resurrection of Jesus, the Apostles carried the Gospel throughout the world. The book of the Acts of the Apostles contains several summaries of speeches where the Apostles introduced the Gospel. This lesson looks at the message which appears in all these speeches and which forms the core of the message of Jesus and the Apostles.
